Yemen Mourns Martyrdom of the Brave Fighter Commander Yahya Sinwar

News - Yemen: Official and popular Yemeni entities, along with political factions, mourned the martyrdom of the great leader Yahya Sinwar.

The Shura Council expressed its condolences for the loss of the brave fighter and head of Hamas' political bureau, Commander Yahya Sinwar, who was martyred while advancing in the front lines against the Zionist occupation forces.

In a statement issued on Friday, the Shura Council emphasized that Sinwar’s martyrdom in the battle of truth against falsehood is a badge of honor for him and those who preceded him in martyrdom. His legacy will serve as a beacon for fighters in Hamas and the axis of resistance on the path to Al-Quds until the ultimate victory is achieved by Allah's will.

The statement praised Sinwar for embodying the glory and history of the Ummah (Islamic nation) through his courageous struggle. He fought with unwavering faith in his just cause and was martyred at the forefront of the resistance, debunking the false claims that the Zionist entity used prisoners as human shields.

It stressed that Sinwar was not an ordinary leader whose chapter ends with his death. Instead, his name will remain a significant symbol that continues to haunt the Zionists, and his pure blood will ignite a volcanic force that will erode the Zionist entity until its complete demise.

The statement extended congratulations to the martyr, Hamas, the martyr’s family, the Islamic and Arab nations, and freedom-loving people around the world for this great honor. It also expressed condolences to the martyr’s family, Hamas, all fighters in the axis of resistance, and the Palestinian people.

The Shura Council reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering moral, religious, and humanitarian support for the Palestinian people and their brave resistance until the liberation of Al-Aqsa and the establishment of a Palestinian state.

The Parliament also mourned the martyrdom of the great fighter, Yahya Sinwar, reiterating its congratulations to the martyr, Hamas, and all factions of the resistance. The Parliament also sent condolences to his family and to the Palestinian people.

Additionally, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council, expressed his condolences to the leadership of Hamas and all Palestinian factions on the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar.

He emphasized that the battle with the Zionist enemy will only end with its defeat by Allah’s will. He said that, like the fallen leaders before him, Commander Yahya ascended to martyrdom in the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, one of the most honorable struggles of the Palestinian people.

"Let the blood of the martyrs across the axis of Al-Aqsa and the great sacrifices of Gaza and Palestine unite, forming an unbreakable strength against the Israeli enemy and pushing back the occupation," Al-Houthi added.

The Coalition of Political Parties Opposing Aggression also mourned the martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar. Its statement hailed Sinwar as a martyr of the cause, of Al-Aqsa, and of the Ummah, noting that he ascended while courageously fighting alongside his brothers in one of the holiest battles against the Zionist enemy, a year after the Al-Aqsa Flood battle began.

The statement highlighted that the Al-Aqsa Flood battle changed the balance of power after 75 years of occupation and suppression and brought the Palestinian cause back to the forefront, despite global conspiracies aiming to erase it.

For its part, Ansarullah’s political bureau also mourned the martyrdom of Palestine's and the Ummah’s leader, Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind behind the Al-Aqsa Flood.

In its statement, Ansarullah expressed heartfelt condolences to the Palestinian people, the resistance factions in Gaza, and the axis of resistance worldwide. It added that the heroic martyr stained Gaza's soil with his pure blood, sacrificing himself for its people and resistance in a courageous stand on the path to Al-Quds.

The statement affirmed the Palestinian resistance's right to a fair prisoner exchange deal, free from American terrorism and lamentation. It also reiterated Yemen's commitment to escalating military operations and intensifying efforts to end the genocide in Palestine and Lebanon.

Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has been martyred in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza's Rafah city, a senior Hamas official confirmed.

Khalil Hayya, head of Hamas in Gaza, delivered a statement on Friday, a day after reports of Sinwar's martyrdom.

Sinwar was found dead in southern Gaza’s Rafah city on Thursday, wearing a combat vest with an AK-47 rifle by his side.

The charismatic leader of the Palestinian resistance movement escaped many assassination attempts before and after the events of October 7.

In the past year, Sinwar, 62, played an instrumental role in coordinating and supervising Operation Al-Aqsa Flood in Gaza.

Before becoming Hamas’s leader in Gaza in 2017, Sinwar spent 22 years in an Israeli prison. He was released as part of a prisoner swap in 2011.
