Yemeni Armed Forces Stand Firm Against Colonialism and Support Palestine

News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have reiterated their unwavering support for all national and pan-Arab causes, with the Palestinian cause remaining a top priority. They affirmed their commitment to standing in solidarity with Gaza and Lebanon, continuing their military operations, and maintaining their steadfast stance until the aggression and blockade are brought to an end.

In two congratulatory messages addressed to Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi and Yemen’s President, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of Independence Day (November 30), Minister of Defense Mohammed Al-Atifi and Chief of the General Staff Mohammed Al-Ghamari emphasized that the colonizers’ fate is extinction and their projects in Yemen and the region will never succeed.

The Armed Forces’ message to Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi underscored that the 57th anniversary of Independence Day on November 30, 1967, is deeply embedded in the consciousness of every free Yemeni who refuses to allow any occupier a foothold on Yemeni soil.

The message highlighted the exceptional challenges and realities imposed by the current collusion of enemies against Yemen, aimed at reviving colonial ambitions in the region.

The Armed Forces stated their commitment to supporting all national and pan-Arab causes, especially the Palestinian cause, and reiterated their resolve to stand as a bastion of support for Gaza and Lebanon. Their stance, they stressed, will remain firm until all aggression and blockades end.

“Just as we confronted colonial powers in the past, we will confront them today with faith and the strength granted by Allah,” the message added. “The enemies’ projects and conspiracies will be shattered by the resilience of our people’s awareness, and they will taste our might wherever they tread.”

The Armed Forces also addressed the grave challenges facing the Arab and Islamic nations, pointing out that imperialist powers are attempting to revive their colonial past by imposing their presence in the region through force, exploiting traitorous agents, and using the Zionist entity as a tool to implement the agenda of the triad of evil—the United States, the United Kingdom, and Zionism. They warned that these powers aim to impose a new reality that contradicts international laws and conventions under the guise of the so-called “New Middle East.”

The Armed Forces emphasized that, under the wise leadership of Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, Yemen has recognized these realities, prepared itself, strengthened its capabilities, and continues to move forward with unwavering faith in the justice of its cause, with the Palestinian issue at the forefront.

Yemen has declared open support for Palestine’s struggle against the Israeli occupation since the regime launched a devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the territory’s Palestinian resistance movements carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have achieved significant victories against the naval forces of the US, the UK, and Israel. These operations led to the effective shutdown of the Port of Eilat, also known as Um Rashrash, and forced the US aircraft carriers Eisenhower and Roosevelt to retreat from the Red Sea. The Yemeni forces also sank or damaged dozens of Israeli-linked ships.

These achievements have surprised many observers, as Yemen was not previously regarded as a significant naval power. The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their operations as long as the Israeli regime maintains its war and siege against Palestinian territories.

So far, Israel has killed at least over 44,382 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured over 105,142 others in Gaza.
