In a statement on his X account, Al-Houthi described the Israeli-American crimes against Yemen as a continuation of their criminal acts in the region.
"The Israeli-American crimes will not prevent Yemen from fulfilling its duty to support Gaza, and Yemen’s operations against their terrorism will persist," he affirmed.
The statement comes in the wake of a series of airstrikes launched by the Israeli entity early Thursday on Yemen's capital, Sana’a, and the province of Hodeidah, resulting in 12 civilian casualties.
In Hodeidah, seven people were martyred in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Salif Port, while two others were martyred and one injured in two strikes on the Ras Isa oil facility. Additionally, two civilians were injured in seven Israeli airstrikes on the Hodeidah Port.
In the capital Sana’a, Israeli airstrikes targeted the Haziz and Dhahban power stations located in the southern and northern parts of the city, respectively.
Reports indicated that four aggressive airstrikes targeted the Haziz power station in southern Sana’a, while two others struck the Dhahban power station in the north.
Civil defense teams successfully extinguished fires at the Dhahban station in northern Sana’a and at the Haziz station in the south.
