News - Yemen: The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) have strongly condemned the brutal Israeli-American aggression targeting civilian infrastructure in Sana'a and Hodeidah, describing it as a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws.

In a statement, the JMP noted that the barbaric attacks on vital facilities reveal the occupation’s aggressive nature and its broader strategy to intimidate nations steadfast in their support for the Palestinian cause.

The statement emphasized that this cowardly aggression will only strengthen the Yemeni people's determination to support their Palestinian brothers. It asserted that such actions will fail to break Yemen’s resolve or weaken the spirit of resistance deeply rooted in its society.

The JMP highlighted that targeting the Yemeni people is part of a Zionist plan to intimidate nations supporting Palestine. It reaffirmed Yemen’s unwavering commitment to standing by the Palestinian people until all occupied territories are liberated, vowing that no challenges will deter this principled stance.

The statement also praised the Yemeni Armed Forces for their operations deep within the Israeli enemy's territory and called for continued escalation until the aggression ends and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

In a related development, the Association of Yemeni Scholars issued a strong condemnation of the US-Zionist airstrikes on civilian infrastructure in Sana’a and Hodeidah. These attacks, targeting critical oil and electricity facilities, were described as flagrant violations of international norms.

The association stated that the aggression reflects a broader Zionist-American agenda to dominate the region. "This aggression aims to subjugate the entire region to Zionist and American control," the statement declared.

Reaffirming Yemen's unwavering support for Gaza, the scholars rejected foreign attempts to weaken Yemen’s role in backing Palestinian resistance. "The Zionist and American dream of deterring Yemen’s support for Gaza is pure illusion," they asserted.

The scholars also praised the Yemeni Armed Forces' military operations as legitimate and necessary, urging their continuation and intensification. "We commend the Armed Forces' actions and call for their escalation," they stated.

The association called on Yemeni citizens to support the Armed Forces through financial contributions and mass demonstrations, emphasizing the need for unity against aggression.

It also criticized local factions aligned with foreign powers, describing their actions as "Zionist-American maneuvers using local tools." The association urged these groups to abandon their positions and join the national cause in solidarity with Gaza.

"We call on those misled by false promises to return to the righteous path, align with their people, and support Palestine and Gaza," the statement concluded.

The remarks underline Yemen’s steadfast resistance against external aggression and its solidarity with the Palestinian cause amid escalating regional tensions.

Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli entity launched a series of airstrikes on the Haziz and Dhahban power stations in Sana'a, as well as attacks on the Salif and Ras Isa oil ports and Hodeidah port, resulting in 12 martyrs and wounded civilians.
