News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have claimed responsibility for a hypersonic missile strike targeting a military objective in occupied Jaffa. The missile, identified as the "Palestine 2," reportedly hit its target with precision, bypassing the Israeli interception systems, which failed to counter the attack.

"Through the exceptional Jaffa operation, we salute our people who took to the streets and squares, affirming their stance of confrontation and defiance against the enemy," the statement read.

Furthermore, the Yemeni Armed Forces expressed their solidarity with the resistance in Gaza, commending their ongoing efforts against Israeli forces. "We salute the mujahideen of Gaza and their ongoing heroic operations against the enemy, reaffirming our continued support for them until the aggression ends and the siege is lifted," he said.

The statement emphasized that the operation was carried out in defense of the Palestinian people's rights and as part of the fifth phase of a broader support initiative.

Earlier on Friday, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared the execution of multiple military operations targeting Israeli interests, including a joint mission with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq and a separate strike on occupied Jaffa. 

Since the onset of the Israeli regime’s war on Gaza on October 7, 2023—after Palestinian resistance movements launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm—Yemen has declared unwavering support for Palestine’s struggle against occupation. The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched regular strikes against Israel as part of a phased escalation campaign.

This campaign has included a strict maritime blockade of Israeli shipping, effectively preventing vessels from reaching Israeli ports. In the initial phase, Yemeni forces targeted the port of Umm al-Rashrash in southern occupied Palestine. This escalation marks the culmination of a year-long series of actions across five phases.

Yemeni military advancements have now enabled strikes deep within Israel, reaching Jaffa (referred to by Israel as Tel Aviv) and other key locations. These attacks have utilized hypersonic missiles and advanced drones with significant destructive capabilities, targeting ports and critical military infrastructure throughout occupied Palestine.
