News - Yemen: The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) strongly condemned the Israeli aggression targeting civilian, service, and infrastructure facilities in Sana’a and Hodeidah, which resulted in casualties, including martyrs and injuries.

In a statement, the JMP described the criminal aggression as evidence of the confusion, failure, and desperation facing the Israeli enemy, alongside its American and British allies, in their inability to halt Yemen’s military operations in support of Gaza.

The statement highlighted that the attack on the besieged Sana’a Airport, during the presence of the WHO Director, underscores the Israeli regime’s disregard for the United Nations, human rights organizations, and all international laws and norms.

The statement called on Yemen's Rocketry Force and Air Force to continue supporting the people of Gaza and escalate their operations.

On Thursday, airstrikes by the American-Israeli coalition claimed the lives of three civilians and injured 16 others in the capital, Sana'a, and Hodeidah Governorate.

Israeli officials have vowed to strike Yemen after the country ramped up its attacks on Israeli targets in retaliation for the genocidal war on Gaza.

Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, Yemeni forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.

The regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed at least 45,361 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured more than 107,803 others. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under rubble.
