News - Yemen: Russia's representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, condemned Yemen’s recent exposure to aerial aggression, particularly the Israeli targeting of Sana'a and Red Sea ports, with US support, calling it a deliberate and unacceptable escalation.

“A year has passed since the start of unlawful military actions in the Red Sea by a US-British-led coalition. The attacks on Yemeni territory do not resolve any issues, but only lead to more destruction,” he stated.

Nebenzya described the military actions carried out by Israel and the US-led coalition in Yemen as a “deliberate escalation” that has resulted in civilian casualties. He urged all parties involved to exercise restraint and refrain from further provocations, stressing the importance of protecting ordinary Yemenis and humanitarian workers.

In response to the inability of the Zionist entity to counter Yemeni strikes, the Israeli regime turned to the UN Security Council in an attempt to prevent further attacks in support of Gaza. An individual impersonating the Israeli ambassador to the UN threatened Yemen with the “miserable fate” faced by Hamas and Hezbollah if the Yemeni Armed Forces continue launching missiles at Israel.

Meanwhile, the US-British coalition launched two airstrikes on Hodeidah province on Monday. The coalition continues its aggression on Yemen in support of Israeli occupation, aiming to deter Yemen from supporting the Palestinian people, who have been enduring a Zionist genocidal war for over a year. Yemen, for its part, reaffirmed its commitment to the Al-Aqsa Flood campaign and its ongoing naval blockade on Israel until the aggression on Gaza ceases.
