Below are the main details:
2016: 4 Wounded in US-Saudi Airstrikes Targeting Vital Factories in Dhamar
On this day in 2016, the US-Saudi aggression dealt another blow to Yemen's struggling economy, targeting the Al-Falahi poultry farm and a children's snack factory in Dhamar with brutal airstrikes, resulting in four injuries and significant damage to the factories, which led to massive material losses. These attacks are a continuation of the aggression's efforts to destroy Yemen's economy.
The poultry farm had been supplying much of the province's poultry needs, while the snack factory provided essential products for children. Their destruction raised food prices and reduced local production, exacerbating the already severe economic crisis and contributing to rising unemployment and food insecurity.
2016: Martyrdom of Two Children and Injuring Their Mother in Sa'adah
On the same day in 2016, the US-Saudi aggression targeted civilians in Sa'adah, causing the martyrdom of two children and the injury of their mother in the Al-Shaf area of the Sahar district due to a cluster bomb explosion left behind by the aggression. These cluster bombs, which continue to harm civilians long after the conflict, are internationally banned.
2017: 11 Casualties in Saudi Airstrikes and Cluster Bombs in Sa'adah
On January 2, 2017, US-Saudi aggression continued its war crimes in Sa'adah. The first crime involved airstrikes on a civilian house in the Wadi Al-Habal area of the Sahar district, leading to the martyrdom of six people, including women and children, and the injury of three others. The second crime involved cluster bombs in Baqim district, resulting in two martyrs and injuries to others.
2018: 15 Casualties in Continued War Crimes Targeting Civilians in Sa'adah
In 2018, the US-Saudi aggression intensified its war crimes, killing 10 citizens and injuring five others in airstrikes targeting civilian infrastructure and homes in the districts of Munabih, Baqim, and Al-Safra.
2020: Hodeidah’s July 7 Neighborhood Under Attack from Mercenary Shelling
On January 2, 2020, the US-Saudi-Emirati coalition, through their mercenaries, launched an indiscriminate shelling campaign in the July 7 neighborhood of Hodeidah, resulting in widespread fear, destruction of homes, and displacement of families, with children and women being severely affected by the shelling.
2022: 3 Martyrs in Saudi Airstrikes Targeting a Mosque in a Residential Area in Sana’a
On January 2, 2022, the US-Saudi aggression launched direct airstrikes targeting a mosque in the residential area of Suad Asir in Sana’a, leading to the martyrdom of three people, with damage to surrounding homes and schools, creating another wave of displacement and deprivation.
These continuous crimes committed by the US-Saudi coalition against Yemen constitute war crimes and acts of genocide. They have caused a severe humanitarian crisis and continue to escalate. The international community must act to end the aggression, hold the perpetrators accountable, and work toward a fair and lasting solution.
