News - Middle East: The Director General of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabteh, expressed his gratitude to the Yemeni people and leadership for their honorable steadfastness in supporting the Palestinian people.

Commenting on the massive marches held on Friday in solidarity with Gaza, Al-Thawabteh posted on "X": "Yemen continues to be a genuine and noble Arab voice, standing firmly alongside our great Palestinian people, their rights, and their principles."

He added:"Yemen is writing its name in golden letters in an era where many have faltered. Thank you to Yemen, its people, and leadership for this honorable steadfastness and this inexhaustible source of support."

Under the slogan "Steadfast with Gaza through our Faith Identity and Quranic Path," millions participated in massive marches on Friday in more than 700 locations across the capital, Sanaa, and various other provinces, demonstrating their unwavering solidarity and support for Gaza.

In support of the Palestinian people facing Zionist genocide, Yemen is waging the Battle of the Promised Conquest and the Holy Jihad, imposing a blockade on enemy ships from entering its ports, while concurrently bombing the Zionist entity. Yemen has vowed to continue its efforts until the aggression stops and the siege on Gaza is lifted.

The Israeli regime initiated a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, following a historic operation carried out by the Palestinian Hamas Resistance group in response to the escalating atrocities committed by the occupying regime against the Palestinian population.

Israel has enforced a comprehensive siege on the densely populated region, severing essential supplies such as fuel, electricity, food, and water, affecting more than two million Palestinians residing within the territory.

Israel’s war on Gaza has so far killed at least 45,658 Palestinians and wounded 108,583.
