News - Yemen: Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, affirmed that the Yemeni people's options—along with those of their forces, tribes, and free citizens—remain open against any further conspiracies or aggression targeting Yemen.

Any attempt to escalate conspiracies against our country will activate the open options of our people, alongside their courageous forces, noble tribes, and free citizens," l-Houthi stated in his X account. "The targets and their scope will surpass expectations in all areas."

He added, "It seems today that the aggressor countries are sending a message of escalation based on misinterpretation, relying on their media and the euphoria of their visit to Damascus."

Al-Houthi highlighted that the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces—though previously less experienced and equipped—have now gained significantly in readiness, expertise, and preparation. He emphasized their capability to respond to any provocation without distraction from the Palestinian cause.

Addressing Saudi Arabia, Mohammed al-Houthi remarked, "The de-escalation was an opportunity for you to reevaluate your flawed calculations, which in the past dragged you into trouble. You once imagined Yemen would fall within two weeks, as you claimed. Today, any similar misjudgment will end in failure, and victory will belong to the Yemeni people."

Al-Houthi remarks comes amid the escalation of Israeli and American airstrikes on Yemen, coinciding with Israel's ongoing war on the Gaza Strip and Yemen's military operations in support of Gaza, which have seen an increase in ballistic missile launches against Israel in recent days.

Earlier, The New York Times quoted analysts as saying that "Israel is struggling to confront the Houthis due to a lack of intelligence on the locations of their leaders and weapons depots."

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of at least 45,717 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
