News - Yemen: Osama Oweidat, the media official of the Tunisian People's Movement and a member of its political bureau, has commended the Yemeni Armed Forces for their decisive role in supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with Arab Journal, Oweidat said: "All respect and appreciation to the Yemeni army for the national role it played in supporting the Palestinian resistance in Gaza."

"Despite the devastation of its infrastructure and the targeting of its economic resources by the Saudi-led coalition, the Yemeni army, with the unwavering support of its great people, has risen to impose a siege on the Zionist entity and has declared its commitment to maintaining this siege until the blockade on Gaza is lifted," he added.

He highlighted Yemen’s courage, stating: "Through its steadfast support for Gaza, Yemen has showcased extraordinary bravery in its stance, decisiveness in its decisions, and precision in its actions. Yemen has impressed the Arab world and struck fear in the heart of the enemy."

Oweidat further emphasized that "Yemen remains the most significant force capable of compelling the Zionist enemy to end its aggression against Gaza."

He expressed strong confidence in Yemen's ingenuity, noting: "The Yemeni minds responsible for developing advanced weaponry and deploying it with such accuracy deep within enemy territory will achieve remarkable breakthroughs in various industrial and technological fields in the near future, propelling Yemen into the ranks of developed nations."

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of at least 45,717 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
