News - Middle East: Israeli forces have carried out fresh night raids in the occupied West Bank. Two more Palestinians have been killed.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced the news on Tuesday and said separate raids were carried out in the town of Tammun and the village of Talouza near Nablus.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said Suleiman Qutaishat, 18, from Tammun was killed “as a result of shelling” that severely wounded five others during the Israeli attack.

Jaafar Dababshe, 40, was killed during a raid on Talouza village, PRCS added. Residents witnessed the Israeli forces shoot him dead in front of his house.

Overnight, extremist Israeli settlers, protected by the occupation troops, stormed several villages in the West Bank. They set Palestinian homes, farms, and vehicles on fire.

Palestinian media reported that the villages of Turmus Ayya, Tuqu', Hajjah, Fara'ata, al-Funduq and Immatain were raided by the settlers.

Prior to the raids, far-right Israeli social media groups had posted messages calling on settlers to join the rampage against Palestinian villages.

Since the Israeli regime launched the campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip in October 2023, violence in the occupied West Bank has soared. Israeli forces have killed at least 820 Palestinians in the West Bank since, according to the Ramallah-based health ministry.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

The regime also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice.

Nearly 46,000 Palestinians have been killed in the vicious Israeli campaign in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
