News - Middle East: The American magazine Foreign Policy published a joint analysis by Beth Sanner, former Deputy Director of US Intelligence, and Jennifer Kavanagh, another former Deputy Director, regarding Yemen's naval operations.

The analysis described the US mission to deter and degrade the "Houthis" is not working.

It stated that Red Sea operations have drained US naval readiness by forcing ships and aircraft carriers to extend their deployments.

The analysis added that these operations have resulted in time-consuming repairs, a reduced available naval fleet, and shortened the lifespan of ships.

Foreign Policy also noted that the multinational Red Sea campaign has failed to garner significant support from most allies and partners and has been unable to achieve its stated objectives, leaving the United States appearing, at best, ineffective.

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 45,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
