The Palestinian Ministry of Health, in its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and injured due to the aggression, stated on Wednesday, as reported by Almasirah Net, that hospitals in Gaza treated 51 martyrs and 78 injuries following the new massacres by the occupation in the Strip.
The Ministry noted that "a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense teams."
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli military aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 45,936 martyrs, in addition to 109,274 injured with varying degrees of severity, including critical and very critical cases.
The occupation forces continue their military assault and genocide in Gaza for the 460th consecutive day, accompanied by relentless bombings and the perpetration of new massacres and crimes.
In parallel, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza warned Tuesday of a real disaster affecting hospitals, oxygen stations, medicine storage facilities, and neonatal incubators in all the remaining operational health facilities in the Strip due to fuel shortages.
The Ministry of Health confirmed in a statement that hospitals have no fuel reserves left due to the "drip-feeding policy" implemented by the occupation in allowing fuel into Gaza since the beginning of the war.
It pointed out that the occupation forces compel aid convoys, including fuel trucks, to take routes infested with thieves and bandits, who steal the aid under their protection.
The Ministry revealed that the last fuel shipment was stolen yesterday while en route to hospitals through UN-affiliated organizations.
The Ministry reiterated its urgent appeal to all concerned, international, and humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately to provide and secure fuel for operating generators in hospitals and health centers in Gaza.
