Ministry of Justice Affirms Yemen's Right to Support Palestinians

News - Yemen: The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights issued a scathing condemnation of the "criminal Israeli-American-British aggression."

Over 32 airstrikes have been reported, with significant damage inflicted on civilian and strategic sites, including the Haziz Power Station and the ports of Ras Issa and Al-Hudaydah. The ministry also condemned attacks near Al-Sabeen Square, a gathering place for Yemeni citizens.

The statement linked the aggression to efforts aimed at undermining Yemen's support for the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, where residents face genocide and blockade.

The ministry emphasized Yemen’s unwavering stance in support of the Palestinian cause, asserting that such acts of aggression will not deter the Yemeni people or their leadership.

The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights called on the United Nations Security Council, international governments, and human rights organizations to condemn the attacks and take decisive action to curb what it described as "reckless American-Israeli-British behavior in Yemen." Additionally, the ministry urged steps to compel Israel to halt its ongoing actions in Gaza.

Reaffirming Yemen's sovereignty and stability, the ministry declared the country's right to defend itself "by all means." It stressed the importance of respecting Yemen's sovereignty and reiterated the nation's right to stand with the Palestinian people in their struggle for justice.

As the situation unfolds, Yemen remains steadfast in its condemnation of the aggression and its commitment to its regional and international obligations.

The Ministry of Health and Environment confirmed that the initial toll of the strikes includes one martyr and nine injuries, targeting both the capital, Sana'a, and Al-Hudaydah governorate.

The US-British coalition is part of an ongoing aggression against Yemen, which has persisted for over a year. The attacks are reportedly in support of the Israeli regime, aiming to pressure Yemen into abandoning its support for the Palestinian people.

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 46,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
