Attwan Emphasizes Role of Yemeni Operations in Supporting Palestinian Negotiations
News - Yemen: Prominent Arab journalist and editor-in-chief of Rai Al-Youm newspaper, Abdel Bari Atwan, highlighted the role of Yemeni military operations in supporting Palestinian negotiations.
In an interview with Al-Masirah TV, Atwan stated that the United States is always eager to form alliances but never goes to war alone, pointing out Washington's failure to create a so-called "Prosperity Alliance" due to the strength and bravery of Yemeni fighters.
He added that Yemen holds a significant record of dignity, self-respect, and retaliation against any aggression, which is why most countries avoid engaging in war against Yemen.
Atwan clarified that Yemen has remained the only Arab nation to stand with Gaza, while many Arab countries, unfortunately, either collaborate with the Israeli enemy or turn a blind eye while claiming neutrality.
The editor-in-chief of Rai Al-Youm also referenced Zionist media, which says that the Israeli enemy has been defeated and that all airstrikes on Yemen are merely for show, with no strategic impact, thus negatively affecting Israel.
He continued, saying, "What rules the world today is media and image. When we witness millions of people gathering weekly in Sana’a’s Al-Sabeen Square, raising the Palestinian flag, and calling for revenge and retribution for Gaza, these scenes are terrifying for the Zionists, and the world watches them and shares them. This is a combat tool no less important than missiles and drones."
Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 46,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
