Yemen Claims Successful Missile Strike on Israel's Ministry of Defense

News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces announced, Saturday, the execution of a special military operation targeting what is called the Ministry of Defense of the Israeli enemy in occupied Jaffa with a "Zolfaghar" ballistic missile.

The spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare'e, stated that the "Zolfaghar" missile reached its target with high precision, and the intercepting systems failed to counter it.

He added that the Yemeni Armed Forces reaffirm their support for the Palestinian resistance in Gaza, confirming that they are coordinating with the resistance to take the appropriate military action in response to any violations or military escalation committed by the enemy during the implementation of the agreement.

Air raid sirens sounded at noon today, Saturday, in occupied Jaffa and in dozens of surrounding settlements, according to what was published by the Israeli enemy's Home Front Command.

Explosion sounds were heard from the West Bank in "Tel Aviv" and Ben Gurion Airport. Israeli Channel 12 reported that, following a Yemeni ballistic missile, air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport was disrupted.

For his part, the spokesperson for the Israeli enemy's army stated that alerts were activated in several areas in the central part of the country following the launch of a missile from Yemen, and an investigation into the details is underway.

Israeli media outlets reported that firefighting teams were heading to the settlement of "Be'er Yaakov" south of "Tel Aviv" after a fire broke out due to missile shrapnel falling.

A number of injuries occurred while fleeing to shelters and due to panic from the fear of the Yemeni missile, according to what was claimed by Israeli emergency services.

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 46,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
