News - Middle East: The Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziad al-Nakhala, emphasized that Yemen's participation in the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood will remain a remarkable and unforgettable symbol for their people and the wider Arab and Islamic nation.

"We cannot forget our brothers in Yemen, who, despite the geographical distance, played a significant, impactful, and effective role in the battle," he stated.

Al-Nakhala also highlighted the role of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, noting, "We cannot forget our brothers in Iraq, who supported us with everything they had."

He praised the resilience and courage of the Palestinian resistance fighters, saying, "The sons of the Palestinian resistance did not surrender; they fought with exceptional bravery and heroism. We will emerge from this battle with our weapons in our hands."

"The steadfastness of our people is the most important factor that forced the enemy to agree to a ceasefire and retreat," Al-Nakhala added, further asserting that the Israeli enemy would eventually be forced to withdraw from the territories it entered in the Gaza Strip.

He also acknowledged Hezbollah's sacrifices, including martyrs, and paid tribute to the leadership of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, describing him as a symbol of the blessed jihad.

Al-Nakhala expressed gratitude to Iran for its unwavering support over the years, culminating in their participation in the "True Promise."

"We all bow in respect to the sacrifices of our people, with the two heroic leaders, Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, leading the way," he said.

Since Israel began its devastating war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, Yemen has openly expressed support for Palestine’s resistance against the Israeli occupation. The ongoing aggression in Gaza has claimed the lives of over 46,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

In addition to missile strikes, Yemen has also targeted ships linked to Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom, aiming to force an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
