News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have unveiled three locally-manufactured sniper rifles during a symbolic exercise held for graduates of the Sniper Unit.

The Yemeni Military Media released footage showcasing the firing of the three sniper rifles, named Sarem, Khatif, and Al-Ashtar, demonstrating their precision in hitting both moving and stationary targets.

The media also highlighted some of the specifications of these sniper rifles:

Sarem Sniper Rifle:

Lightweight, locally-made.
Caliber: 7.62 mm.
Range: 750 meters.
Effective against both stationary and moving targets.

Khatif Sniper Rifle:

Medium-weight, locally-made.
Caliber: 12.7 mm.
Range: 1,000 meters.
Effective against both stationary and moving targets.

Al-Ashtar Sniper Rifle:

Heavy, locally-made.
Caliber: 14.5 mm.
Range: 1,250 meters.
Effective against both stationary and moving targets.
