The Leader Highlights Yemen’s Role in Supporting Palestine During "Al-Aqsa Storm" Operation

News - Yemen: Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the Yemeni leader, delivered a detailed and comprehensive address regarding Yemen's supportive stance toward Palestine during the "Al-Aqsa Flood" operation.

In his speech to mark the victory of the Palestinian people in the operation, Sayyed Abdulmalik highlighted the unique aspects of Yemen’s position, attributing it to the faith-based awakening and Quranic orientation of the Yemeni people. He emphasized that the purpose of discussing Yemen's significant experience is to build on the progress made in the present and future, not to boast about it.

He explained that the faith-driven awakening elevated the Yemeni people from mere emotional sympathy to a sense of responsibility and comprehensive practical action across all domains. The second distinctive feature of Yemen's position, according to the leader, is the unified stance at both the official and popular levels, characterized by a high level of determination.

Sayyed Abdulmalik asserted that the United States and its allies failed to influence Yemen’s position using the same methods employed in other countries.

He stated that Yemen's unified approach, encompassing both the official and popular spheres, prevented external forces from restraining the official stance or pressuring the popular one. The alignment between the government and the people was clear, as the official position genuinely represented the popular will, which even called for direct participation in combat alongside Palestinian fighters.

He expressed regret that this aspiration could not be realized due to the lack of response from neighboring countries to requests for safe passage to Palestine. He noted that Yemen had publicly announced its readiness to intervene militarily if Israel crossed certain red lines, declaring its support for the Palestinian people and fighters in Gaza.

The leader elaborated on Yemen's first military operation to support Gaza, which was prompted by Israel’s bombing of the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital. Despite U.S. surveillance and threats, Yemen launched its first operation using missiles and drones targeting Eilat and southern Palestine. Although the U.S. attempted to intercept these efforts, some missiles and drones reached their targets.

Sayyed Abdulmalik discussed the subsequent decision to rely on naval operations for greater impact. The naval operations began successfully, with Yemeni forces seizing an Israeli vessel, which had a significant global resonance. He noted that the U.S. intensified its naval presence to protect Israeli ships, but Yemeni operations continued, with the navy leading the way in sacrifices for the cause.

He pointed out that despite U.S. and European efforts to protect Israeli ships, the naval operations succeeded in targeting them, disrupting their movements and activities. Yemen also advanced its technological capabilities, using ballistic missiles in naval operations—a first in military history. These advancements brought about significant changes, including Israel’s decision to halt its direct shipping activities in the Red Sea.

He also revealed that Israel resorted to covert methods, such as using foreign-flagged ships, to continue its maritime trade. However, Yemen's intelligence efforts exposed these tactics, leading to further disruptions. He noted that targeting ships associated with Israel involved caution and warnings to minimize harm to neutral parties.

The leader emphasized the direct economic impact of these operations on Israel, highlighting how the blockade on Israeli shipping through the Red Sea severely affected its economy. He also mentioned the U.S. escalation in response, including deploying advanced aircraft and warships, which ultimately failed to deter Yemen’s actions.

He detailed how Yemeni forces expanded their operations from the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, and even the Mediterranean. These expansions represented a significant escalation, showcasing Yemen's growing military reach. Sayyed Abdulmalik noted that coordination with allies, such as the Islamic resistance in Iraq, faced challenges due to external pressures.

The operations also affected Israel's internal security, with millions of settlers forced into shelters amid missile and drone attacks. Sayyed Abdulmalik emphasized the psychological and economic toll on Israel, including disruptions to flights at Ben Gurion Airport and other critical infrastructure.

In conclusion, the leader praised Yemen's steadfastness and faith-based commitment, asserting that its efforts contributed to the broader victory of the Palestinian resistance. He reiterated Yemen's readiness to continue its support and highlighted the significant role of Yemen's missile, drone, and naval forces in achieving these outcomes.
