News - Yemen: The number of people injured due to the crime of the US-Saudi aggression against the citizens of Al-Anab residential neighborhood in Sana’a rose to 16, including serious injuries.

Almasirah Net correspondent in Sana’a had previously reported that nine people were wounded, three of them seriously, as a result of the raid targeted a hangar for foodstuffs in the residential neighborhood of Al-Anab on Saturday night.

The aggression also launched three raids on Al-Nahda neighborhood, a raid on the homes of citizens in the Mathbah neighborhood and four raids on the vicinity of the Military College and Sana’a International Airport.

Saudi Arabia, backed by the US and other key Western powers, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the goal of bringing Hadi’s government back to power and crushing Ansarullah.

Having failed to reach its professed goals, the war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.

Despite heavily-armed Saudi Arabia’s continuous bombardment of the country, Yemeni armed forces and the Popular Committees have grown steadily in strength against the Saudi invaders and left Riyadh and its allies bogged down in the country.

Recently, the US-Saudi aggression escalated its raids by launching a series of raids on a number of governorates. 

Yemeni Armed Forces have repeatedly warned the Saudi regime to stop its war, promising the regime larger and painful operations if it continues its aggression and siege on the country.

Last week, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a large-scale military operation inside Saudi Arabia, hitting the Arab kingdom’s Khaled air base in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Aramco Jeddah refineries, Abha International Airport in Asir and various military targets in Abha, Jizan and Najran province, using 14 domestically-developed combat drones.
