Rights Group Denounces Crimes of Saudi Army Against Civilians in Border Areas of Sa’adah

News - Yemen: A rights group condemned on Saturday the crimes of the Saudi army against civilians in the border areas of Sa’adah Governorate.

In a statement, the Eye of Humanity Center for Rights and Development denounced the repeated attacks of the Saudi enemy, the latest of which caused two martyrs and ten injuries as a result of the artillery and machine guns of the Saudi enemy targeting villages and farms of citizens in the border district of Shada.

The Center expressed its strong condemnation of these heinous crimes, which it and its predecessors, according to the international humanitarian legal description, considered war crimes.

The Eye of Humanity Center condemned the silence of the international community and international bodies and organizations, led by the United Nations, which stands idly by regarding what the countries involved in aggression and their mercenaries are doing against the Yemenis.

Various areas of the border districts in Sa’adah are  subjected to Saudi missile and artillery shelling, on a daily basis, resulting in heavy casualties and material losses.

On Saturday, two citizens were wounded by Saudi fire in the border district of Shada. While on Friday, a citizen was killed and seven others were wounded, as a result of the Saudi enemy targeting the border district of Shada with artillery and machine guns.

Medical statistics revealed that the number of victims of the Saudi attacks on the border district of Munabbih in Sa’adah, during January and February, amounted to 202 dead and wounded.

The director of Munabbih Rural Hospital, Ali al-Ayashi, said in a statement to Almasirah Net correspondent that the number of citizens who died as a result of the Saudi enemy’s bombing of Munabbih reached 21, while the number of wounded reached 181 Yemenis and African immigrants.
