At a time when Sana’a is pressing to expedite the process of paying salaries in accordance with the agreements between it and the coalition led by Saudi Arabia during the peace talks in its various rounds, the head of the pro-aggression government, Maeen Abdul Malik, appears in an interview with the Turkish “Anatolia” agency to talk about salaries, saying: “His government has decided that it will not pay salaries” .
Maeen Abdulmalik's talk about salaries at this time is nothing but a new maneuver by the aggression to evade salary entitlements, as part of the coalition's efforts to transfer the salary item, and link it to a comprehensive political settlement, which is rejected by Sana'a, which considers salaries as a non-politicized human entitlement.
According to observers, the aggression's attempts and insistence on dropping the salary item from the humanitarian issue complicates peace paths in Yemen, especially since Sana'a confirmed that implementing of the humanitarian issues is an important step in building confidence between the two parties, and that any talk of peace without implementing these items is completely useless.
