News – Yemen: In the southern governorates, local currency continued on Wednesday to collapse at an accelerated pace, recording a record low in financial transactions.

According to local exchange branches the exchange rate of the US dollar in Aden exceeded the 1389 Yemeni Riyals. As for the capital, Sana'a, the exchange rate recovered at 530 Riyals against the dollar due to a set of measures taken by the government to maintain the stability of the currency last year.

Earlier, Experts wondered about the fate of the huge monetary block printed by the mercenary government recently, and unilaterally for monetary groups that circulate only in their regions, and where did they go, amid accusations that they are behind rumors about a cash crisis.

It should be noted that the exchange rate in Sana'a is still maintaining its stability, as one dollar in Sana'a is equal to 533 Yemeni Riyals.

The Saudi-backed government continues to take economic measures that directly affect the service and living conditions of the Yemeni People, especially in the southern regions, and exacerbate their disastrous suffering as a result of the US-Saudi siege and aggression.

In April, a politician in the pro-aggression government, Ahmed Saleh Al-Eisi revealed the corruption of his government, including the sale of oil wells to foreign companies, in addition to selling a large part of the communications sector to an Emirati company.
