Yemen: Military units were deployed in the presidential palace, local sources in occupied Aden reported. They quoted recruits in the ranks of Saudi-backed “Dir’ al-Watan” forces, that “the deployment came to secure the vicinity of the palace,” without giving further explanations.

Residents said that the spread of pro-Saudi factions may be an indication of the imminent return of the pro-coalition head of the council, Rashad al-Alimi.

Al-Alimi's possible return to Aden, which is under the control of the coalition of aggression, comes amid a continuous state of tension between the coalition's parties. The relations between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi took a more hostile position, exacerbating the military and economic crises in the areas controlled by the coalition in southern and eastern Yemen.

Although the return of Al-Alimi and the leaders of the pro-aggression government will not add any help to improve the economic situation, nor to absorb military tensions between the discordant factions in the south and east of the country. Political rivalries developed during the past months between the Saudis and Emiratis, to enter a new turn to impose the will between the two parties. 

It does not seem that the attempts of not showing the conflict between Saudi Arabia and the UAE will not continue long, especially after the recent leaks that were reported by Western media. The Saudi crown prince talked about “the betrayal of Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed to Saudi Arabia in Yemen”, and added that Saudi Arabia "will respond to the traitors."

While the conflicts between Riyadh and Abu Dhabi in Yemen do not appear to be more than childish conflicts that pave the way for the presence of their leader represented by the United States to Yemen, especially since the latter has strengthened its recent mobilization in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
