News - Yemen: The Yemeni community in Germany strongly condemned the US-British aggression against Yemen on Sunday, considering it a violation of all UN charters, international laws, norms, and humanitarian conventions.

In a statement, the community expressed that this blatant and treacherous aggression primarily targets the people of Gaza.

It emphasized that this aggression is an extension of the ongoing Saudi and Emirati regimes' aggression and their criminal, colonial, and arrogant behavior towards the Yemeni people for over nine years.

The statement stressed the importance for the Security Council to fulfill its legal and humanitarian responsibilities with the utmost impartiality and in accordance with the UN Charter.

Furthermore, it highlighted that the American and British interventions and aggression against Yemen pose a significant threat to international navigation and global trade, as well as leading to the militarization of the Red Sea.

Early on Friday, the American and British warplanes targeted with 73 missiles five regions of Yemen, including the capital Sana'a and the provinces of Hodeidah, Taiz, Hajjah, and Sa’adah, killing at least five people and wounding six others.

The US and UK launched a series of aerial and navy strikes against Yemen in response to the repeated attacks that Yemen conducted on Israeli-bounded ships in the Red Sea. The aggression was conducted with support from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands.

Since the Israeli regime's relentless military campaign against Gaza commenced in early October, the Yemenis have openly declared their support for Palestine's struggle against the Israeli occupation.

In recent actions, the Armed Forces have conducted attacks on ships that have ties with Israel near Yemeni ports. On November 19, they intercepted and seized a vessel associated with the Tel Aviv regime.
