Sayyed Abdulmalik: Yemen Introduced ‘Submarine Weapon’ in Red Sea Operations

News - Yemen: The leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi affirmed that Yemeni operations in support of Gaza in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait continue.

He stated that Yemen is escalating these operations in response to the enemy's increased aggression in the Gaza Strip.

In a speech on Thursday, the leader mentioned that Yemen’s operations against Israeli targets in the occupied territories included using 183 missiles and drones. The escalation in naval operations involved activating missiles, drones, and military boats.

He disclosed the involvement of submarines in the maritime operations, causing concern for the US. Despite the enemy's efforts to reduce movement, camouflage, and withhold information, 48 ships in the sea were targeted.

The leader highlighted an intelligence achievement that surprised the US, as Yemeni armed forces obtained information about the identity, ownership, and destination of a targeted ship. He emphasized that obtaining such information is unconventional, and despite the enemy's attempts to conceal and camouflage, they have also failed.

He pointed out that the enemy failed to protect ships from missile and drone attacks and, furthermore, failed to limit launch operations and prevent missiles from hitting their targets, despite possessing advanced capabilities. He noted the development of missiles to a level where the Americans cannot intercept or bring them down with their technologies.

The leader underscored significant victories in the confrontations in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, citing victories in terms of technologies, capabilities, and American expertise. Military experts were impressed by the tactics of Yemeni Armed Forces in terms of tactics, weapons, and means.

He stated that the US-UK aggression failed to limit launch operations and prevent missiles from hitting their targets, despite their advanced capabilities. Thirteen distinguished and effective operations were executed this week, with one of the most prominent being the targeting of a British ship that was sunk by a destructive strike.

He added, "this week witnessed the downing of a US MQ-9 drone, one of the most important American drones." He emphasized that the Americans failed to prevent, deter, or limit Yemen's operations. The situation has become problematic for the Americans, as their warships, destroyers, and military pieces are being struck in the Red and Arabian Seas.

Furthermore, the leader mentioned the airstrikes from the US-UK aggression against Yemen and missile strikes from the sea, despite reaching 278 attacks to date, they have ultimately failed to destroy Yemen’s capabilities and reduce their impact.

Yemeni forces have launched repeated drone and missile strikes in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait and Gulf of Aden since November in support of Palestinians.
They say the operations will continue unless Israel stops its war on the besieged Gaza Strip, which has killed almost 30,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.

On Monday, Yemeni forces targeted Britain’s Rubymar cargo vessel in the Gulf of Aden. Military spokesperson Yahya Saree said the crew was safe but that the ship was badly damaged and at risk of sinking.
