News - Yemen: The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced the targeting of an American ship in the Red Sea with a number of suitable naval missiles, vowing to escalate the operations during Ramadan.

In a statement, the spokesman for the Armed Forces, Yahya Sare'e, said that the naval forces executed the precise targeting operation against the American ship "Pinocchio," as a victory for the injustice against the Palestinian people and in response to the American-British aggression on Yemen.

He affirmed to prevent Israeli navigation or any heading towards the occupied ports of Palestine in the Red and Arabian Seas until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted on the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces also emphasized that their military operations will escalate during the month of Ramadan, in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and resistance in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, the Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi urged the Yemeni people to continue mobilizing and persist in their weekly demonstrations to support the people of the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the need for unwavering commitment.

"We are entering the blessed month while engaging in jihad to support the Palestinian people through missiles, drones, financial aid, and widespread popular mobilization," Sayyed Abdulmalik stated in an expanded meeting attended by scholars and state leaders to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.

Sayyed Abdulmalik reiterated that Yemen's operations in support of Gaza will continue in Ramadan, and the activities will persist. Certain essential actions must be maintained.

The Israeli regime launched the savage campaign in Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas carried out a surprise operation against the occupying entity in response to the regime’s never-ending atrocities against Palestinians.

The regime has since killed at least 31,045 Palestinians, mostly women and children. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under the rubble.

Yemenis have openly expressed their support for Palestine's struggle against Israeli occupation, particularly intensified after the Israeli devastating attack on Gaza on October 7.

Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they would prevent the Israeli-bounded ships from moving through the Red Sea, Bab Al-Mandab strait until the Israeli aggression against Gaza stopped and the siege was lifted.
