US Has No Way to Stop Yemen’s Operations in the Red Sea Except by Stopping Gaza Genocide

Yemen: In the wake of its acknowledged and recognized military failure to influence the trajectory of the Yemeni front in support of the Palestinian people, including qualitative naval operations, the Biden administration resorted to blatant attempts at deception.

It also resorted to diplomatic maneuvers that had previously proven futile, thus revealing its dead-end situation and the lack of options in the face of the Yemeni stance, which is leaning towards further escalation. This places Washington once again in the position of needing to halt the Zionist aggression on Gaza or risk sinking deeper into the Yemen quagmire.

The latest attempts at deception by the Biden administration to cover up its monumental failure in Yemen came in statements by the US Air Force commander in the Middle East, General Alex Grinkevich. He had nothing to offer to the Associated Press agency except speculation that the Yemeni weapon stockpile may have decreased, citing that Yemeni operations no longer have the same intensity.

Grinkevich contradicted himself when he mentioned—or perhaps remembered—that the US forces have no intelligence on the military arsenal, thus cannot assess its size. Many US military officials have reiterated this over the past few months.

Therefore, talk of a decrease in the Yemeni weapon stockpile is not just baseless speculation but a blatant attempt to fabricate a false achievement in the aggression against Yemen and alter the clear picture of failure, as confirmed by senior officers in the US Navy recently. They stated that the Navy is facing its biggest challenge since World War II in terms of operational intensity and unprecedented attacks in history.

The "decrease in operation frequency" cited by the US Air Force commander in the Middle East as evidence, despite the inability to provide any real information, is also clear and exposed deception.

It is natural for the timeframe between military statements regarding ship targeting to slightly widen compared to previous months if ship movement involving the Israeli enemy and the United States and Britain has become extremely rare in the region, as confirmed by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi.

Additionally, the warnings from the US Department of Transportation to US-owned ships to avoid passing through Bab el-Mandeb as much as possible, along with the flood of American, British, and "Israeli" reports confirming continuously and almost daily that the problem in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea persists, with economic effects escalating.

In this context, for example, the Chinese shipping company Ocean Network Express announced on Thursday the postponement of the operation of the maritime route between Asia and the US East Coast due to the situation in the Red Sea.

Therefore, the lack of announcement regarding the targeting of many ships, as was the case in previous months, is evidence of the success of the Armed Forces in imposing a maritime blockade on ships affiliated with the US-UK-Israeli coalition. It has no relation to the decrease in the Yemeni weapon stockpile. Rather, the attempt by the US Air Force commander in the Middle East to link the two indicates a significant bankruptcy even in propaganda, highlighting that even American speculations have become highly confused.

This is also affirmed by the US Central Command, which Grinkevich leads its air forces, as it issues daily statements about clashes with Yemeni missiles and drones in the Red Sea. Shortly after Grinkevich’s statements, Central Command announced that a ballistic missile and two drones were launched from Yemen towards the USS Gravely destroyer in the Red Sea, clearly indicating that the Yemeni Armed Forces continue to heavily cover the area with firepower commensurate with the density of targets in the region.

Instead of speculating about the size of the Yemeni arsenal, which the US Fleet Commander in the Red Sea, Mark Miguez, previously acknowledged as being a "black hole" for US intelligence, General Grinkevich should have answered a simple question that everyone possesses information about: Can ships affiliated with Israel, the United States, and Britain safely pass through Bab el-Mandeb and the Red Sea? He would not be able to answer yes, no matter how bold his attempts at deception are.

The illusionary achievement that the US Air Force commander in the Middle East tried to fabricate through illogical speculation collided on the same day with an admission by the US envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, who said that there is "no military solution" and he hopes to reach a "diplomatic solution." This is a clear acknowledgment of the deadlock reached by the aggression campaign against Yemen and the Biden administration's realization of its military failure to influence the Yemeni front supporting Gaza.

This admission of failure also reinforced Lenderking's previous offer, which Sanaa had previously ignored, to cancel the designation of "Ansarullah" as a terrorist organization in exchange for halting maritime operations supporting the Palestinian people. Revisiting this point reveals a major American confusion in extricating itself from the Yemeni front, which Washington itself deepened when it decided to attack Yemen.

According to a report published by the American "Monitor" website on Thursday, the United States is already seeking a diplomatic way out after military strikes failed during Yemeni maritime attacks. However, the report mentions that most analysts see that there is nothing less than a ceasefire in Gaza that can convince Sanaa to stop. This is something that Lenderking himself acknowledged earlier in late March in an interview with the American network "CNN," stating clearly that there is a need to reach a ceasefire in Gaza to halt the attacks in the Red Sea.

Between the clear practical solution that the Biden administration seems to be aware of, the media deception and diplomatic deceit, and the explicit admissions of military failure, the predicament is the most fitting title to describe the American situation in facing the Yemeni front. It seems that the White House is desperately searching for a solution that does not clash with its commitment to protecting the Zionist entity, and it is not finding one. This means that the continuation of the battle will only bring it more failures and defeats from which it may not be able to recover.
